Meet the Author: Ryan S Taylor

Growing up in South Africa, amidst bustling mining towns and tranquil farmlands, Ryan S Taylor's imagination was ignited by the wonders of nature and the simple joys of childhood. Countless hikes and adventures, along with the unwavering support of his wife, fueled his passion for storytelling.

Inspired by his own experiences on a farm surrounded by animals and a vast forest playground, Ryan began crafting bedtime stories for his young children. These weekly tales, filled with laughter and heartwarming lessons, continued for years and eventually blossomed into the Mr. Giggles series.

The Birth of Mr. Giggles

The star of the show, Mr. Giggles, is an African pygmy hedgehog, a small but spirited creature that embodies the resilience and adventurous spirit of childhood. He resides on Red Bus Oak Farm, a place brimming with wonder and excitement, where he shares incredible adventures with his best friend Nutty Little the chick and a cast of charming characters.

Red Bus Oak Farm: A World of Wonder

Far, far away, just on the other side of the Little Brown bridge, lies Red Bus Oak Farm, a happy little farm with rolling hills, a little red bus, a big brown and red barn, a nice little farmhouse, and a giant oak tree where it all began.

Mr. Giggles and Nutty Little, the best of friends since they were tiny tots, explore every nook and cranny of the farm. They lean on the wobbly rails of the Little Brown bridge, watching the water flow by and making plans for their next big adventure.

They play hide-and-seek in the hayloft of the big red barn with Tom Tom, the playful corgi. They share secrets with Mr. Fox, the kind bat-eared fox, in the little red bus nestled amongst the trees. And under the shade of the giant oak tree, they meet with Little Rabbit and Bingo the bunny in their secret hollow trunk.

Red Bus Oak Farm is a bustling place, filled with friendly animals and exciting places to discover. It is a peaceful place, where the animals play and the sun always seems to shine, the perfect place for friends to have adventures together.
